Abstract: The assessment of the current state of the sugar market in the post-Soviet countries (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine) is presented. The weak points in the sugar market of the EEU countries are identified and measures aimed at supporting agricultural producers of the Eurasian economic union countries are considered.
